ACTOR MURALI ERA ENDS!

The Jeevana Parva of ‘Prema Parva’ debut hero of Kannada cinema Murali son of stalwart director Siddalingaiah who made it big in Tamil films acting in 70 plus films winning awards has come to an end on today morning. He was all set to comeback after a small exile in ‘En Raasi Nalla Raasi’ (My star is good star). It is absolutely wrong title for the real life as the death came for him at a very early age. He was born on 19th May 1964.

 

According to the sources Murali developed sudden illness and moved to the hospital on the outskirts of Chennai on last late night. He breathed his last not responding to treatment.

The last function Murali attended was the recent wedding of Rajanikanth daughter Soundarya wedding.


Murali death at the age of 46 years is shocking. The black complexioned charmer of silver screen from social based films with no action image sailed for 26 years as an actor in Tamil filmdom. At the age of 14 Murali studying in Bangalore took interest in direction and learnt the art of editing too.

After Prema Parva in his father Siddalingaiah direction Murali soon catch train to Chennai and he was cast as hero in ‘Poovilangu’. With top stars like Rajani, Kamal Hassan, Vijayakanth and scores of others in Tamil Murali selection of subjects and being one among the masses of interior Tamil Nadu earned him laurels.

It was ‘Porkalam’ given him extra dimension. Off late he has been very choosy and introduced his son Atharva in ‘Bana Kathadi’ Tamil film. He came down to Bangalore on 4th of August to introduce his son to Kannada film media. He sat with his father and son spoke on various topics remembered his starting days. How he was cajoled for dark complexion.

In October this year Murali announced his comeback to Kannada and also wished to introduce his son in Kannada. He has left much early in his life shocking every one.
Murali well known Kannada films are Ajeya, Prema Gange, Thayikotta Thali, Sambavami Yuge Yuge and Ajay-Vijay. He has 70 plus films in Tamil.

Hailing from Karnataka Murali acted in top star films of Sivaji Ganeshan, Mammooty, Sarathkumar, Vijayakanth and others. He was darling of Tamil films for 26 years. Murali campaigned for AIADMK in the last elections in Tamil Nadu.

Known for simple and beautiful manners he leaves behind his father Siddalingaiah, wife Shoba, daughter Kavya, sons Vijay and Atharva.
